Comparing the Lincoln Navigator to the Cadillac Escalade in Toledo OH

As the market for full-sized SUVs grows, so does the demand from the customers.  Here at Franklin Park Lincoln, we pride ourselves on our relationships with our Monroe MI and Oregon OH drivers.  We want you to feel confident in working with us and excited when it comes time to sign the papers. If you are in the market for a full-sized luxury SUV you've probably looked at the Cadillac Escalade as well as the Lincoln Navigator.  While both offer luxury features and ample cargo space, we find that the Lincoln Navigator offers you more feature and a more enjoyable drive.  The Lincoln Navigator is the perfect SUV for you and your family.

Differences in Performance

The 2019 Lincoln Navigator's engine produces 30 more horsepower and 50 pound to feet more torque than the 2019  Cadillac Escalade.  The Lincoln Navigator also comes with intelligent automatic engine start and stop, which helps the drivers to achieve more fuel efficiency, saving you money at the gas pump. The drift compensation steering in the Navigator can automatically compensate for road conditions which would cause the vehicle to drift from side to side, helping you keep the Navigator straight and in control.  The Escalade does not offer drift compensation steering.

The 2019 Lincoln Navigator is equipped with a Twin-Turbo 3.5-liter V6 that offers 60 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway.  You'll achieve 450 horsepower and 500 pound to feed of torque.  You'll also have a ten-speed automatic transmission.

The 2019 Cadillac Escalade features a 6.2-liter V8 that achieves 14 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway.  This engine pumps out 420 horsepower and 460 pound to feet of torque.  You would also have a ten-speed automatic transmission.

Exterior Design

The 2019 Lincoln Navigator has a modern presence and bold styling that will turn heads from Oregon OH to Sylvania.  You can choose from a large variety of exterior colors that are as chic as they are refined.  The 2019 Cadillac Escalade has the same exterior design as models before it.  Both models share a hands-free liftgate and power assist steps.  The Lincoln Navigator's wheelbase is 6.5-inches longer which offers better handling and control.

Interior Features

When you buy a full-sized SUV you want space, and the Lincoln Navigator has the space and versatility you need to achieve all kinds of fun activities. The 2019 Navigator has 51.2 cubic feet more passenger volume than the Cadillac Escalade.  The Navigator also has one inch more front hip room, .3 inches more front shoulder room, and 1.3 inches more rear headroom than the Cadillac Escalade.  Overall the 2019 Lincoln Navigator is more spacious and more practical.  Your passengers will love the entertainment systems and much more!

You'll have room for seven or eight passengers, leather seating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio, and speed control.  The rear seats feature a 60/40 split for more passenger cargo configurations, and there is tri-zone electronic automatic temperature control so everyone can be comfortable.

Technology

When it comes to technology features the 2019 Lincoln Navigator takes the win.  Lincoln has gone above and beyond to ensure all the newest gadgets in this luxury SUV make your drive more enjoyable and more practical. You'll be equipped with a Revel Ultima audio system, a 10-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.  The Escalade only has an eight-inch touchscreen but does come with a Bose Centerpoint Surround Sound audio system.

We hope that this information helps you make a decision that feels best for you, your family, and your busy lifestyle.  We invite you to visit us and give the 2019 Lincoln Navigator a test drive.
